Please be advised that these cartridges do come with the latest chip that will handle the most recent firmware upgrade by as of Aug 2019. The ink level should be displayed correctly, however, it may sometime show the low ink level (eventhough they are still full of ink) as it may be due to the firmware update again.

The automatic firmware upgrade can be disabled in your printer's settings so that this problem will not happen again. If your printer does not have an automatic firmware update, then the generic/compatible cartridges should be working as follows:
